Melbourne, Florida · Est. 1985
From bagged feed for your backyard flock to bulk grain for the pasture, C & J Feed Store has been a steady hand on the corner of Aurora Road for four decades. Stop by and say hello.
Our Story
C & J Feed Store opened its doors in 1985 on Aurora Road with a simple conviction: that anyone raising animals, tending garden, or working land deserves access to quality products and honest advice — without the big-box markup or indifference.
What started as a small operation run by two people who knew the difference between a layer pellet and a starter crumble has grown into the go-to destination for Melbourne's hobby farmers, 4-H kids, homesteaders, and gardeners.
We still carry the brands you trust and source the staples you need. More importantly, we still know our customers by name and remember what they were working on last season.
Only products we'd put on our own property.
Knowledgeable staff who actually raise animals.
Independently owned and operated since day one.
Competitive pricing without the squeeze.
What We Carry
From the coop to the garden bed, we stock the products that keep things growing and animals thriving.
Game bird, horse, cattle, goat, and poultry feed — from starter crumbles to free-range pellets. Bulk and bagged options available.
Ready-to-assemble coops, nesting boxes, waterers, feeders, bedding, and everything your flock needs to stay healthy and productive.
Seasonal seeds, transplants, potting mixes, fertilizers, and mulch — tailored for Central Florida's unique growing conditions.
Hay nets, stall supplies, pet food, veterinary basics, fencing, and hand tools — the everyday essentials you don't want to run out of.
Mineral blocks, vitamin supplements, hoof care, wormers, and topical treatments for horses, livestock, and companion animals.
Wild bird seed, deer feeders, pest control, holiday décor, and rotating seasonal inventory that keeps the store fresh all year.

From Our Neighbors
We don't chase volume — we chase relationships. Here's what a few of our regulars have shared.
"I've been coming here for fifteen years. They remember my name, my flock, and exactly what I need before I do. That kind of service doesn't come cheap, but it comes close."
Melbourne, FL
"Best feed store on the Space Coast, hands down. They helped me set up my first coop when I was just getting into backyard chickens, and they've been my go-to ever since."
Cocoa, FL
"The bulk hay delivery was right on time and the price was better than anywhere else I checked. Plus, the folks there actually know their stuff about livestock nutrition."
